Eden Prairie Center didn’t wait for December to turn up the cheer. Santa’s Arrival Party on Saturday drew families to Center Court, where kids gathered for an early taste of the holiday season.
The event featured a “Mrs. Claus and Friends” singalong and storytelling, along with face painting and glitter tattoos. Mrs. Claus chatted with children seated on the floor and later brushed butterflies and snowflakes onto their cheeks, while volunteers added glitter tattoos and parents stepped in with phones to grab a few photos.
Santa entered Center Court a short time later, the featured guest of the party and the unofficial start of the mall’s holiday lineup. Festivities at the mall continue in the weeks ahead, including Photos with Santa in Scheels Court through Dec. 24.
