The EVS C.A.R.E.S. Foundation hosted a “Morning Brew and Tanzania” breakfast at EVS Engineering in Eden Prairie on Nov. 13. Educate Tanzania, Inc. (ETI) presented at the event.
ETI is a Minnesota nonprofit whose mission is “to partner with developing communities in Tanzania to promote and sustain economic and social prosperity through education.”
Along with Tanzanian and European partners, ETI has built an agricultural college on 1,000 acres in Tanzania, provided micro-enterprise loans to help graduates start businesses, powered the campus with a solar array and battery storage, and is currently building a food processing plant to spur economic growth for the area’s farming community.

EVS C.A.R.E.S. has been instrumental in the growth of ETI since its inception in 2010. Through the foundation, EVS provided the solar design and significant funding for the college’s power system. The foundation’s name stands for Charity-Assistance-Relief-Empathy-Service.

Attendees were encouraged to mark their calendars for the ETI Dinner and Gala on May 29, 2026, at Hazeltine National Golf Club in Chaska, and to help support the food processing plant with end-of-year giving.
EVS Engineering is located at 10025 Valley View Road, Suite 140.
