As part of its 90th anniversary celebration, Security Bank & Trust Co. has launched a five-year, $1 million “Local Return” initiative to reinvest in the Minnesota counties it serves.
The Glencoe-based community bank said it will dedicate $200,000 annually to projects, schools, and organizations focused on growing community impact and local economic vitality.
“The purpose of our giveback goes beyond charity,” said Andy Schornack, president of Security Bank & Trust Co., who works in the bank’s Eden Prairie office. “We believe in investment that multiplies — investment that comes home.”
Founded in 1935, Security Bank & Trust Co. has grown from one branch in Glencoe to a $1.3 billion community bank with 21 offices across Minnesota, including one at 7525 Office Ridge Circle in Eden Prairie.
