Ghosts, giggles, and gourds filled Riley Lake Park on Saturday as families turned out for Harvest to Halloween at the Barn – Eden Prairie’s annual fall tradition of pumpkin painting, sweet treats, and small-town joy.
Children darted between treat stations, climbed inflatables, and proudly showed off their pumpkin masterpieces. The City of Eden Prairie’s free afternoon celebration also opened the doors of the historic Geisler-Dorenkemper homestead, where Eden Prairie Historical Society board members led tours and shared stories of the city’s pioneer past.
With pumpkins in hand and laughter in the air, it was a picture-perfect October day – the kind of gathering that makes Eden Prairie feel like home.
