Veridian Credit Union has opened scholarship applications to award a total of $20,000 to eight students for the 2026-27 academic year. Four high school seniors and four post-high school applicants will each receive $2,500 toward tuition for post-secondary education at an accredited vocational, undergraduate or graduate program.
“Veridian’s scholarship program is designed to meet a variety of students where they are and financially support the path to where they want to be,” said Ashtin Hotek, Veridian’s public relations strategist and scholarship coordinator. “It’s an investment in the students and in the future of our communities.”
Applications are due with a 500-word essay on Feb. 6, 2026. Details are available online. The Veridian Credit Union Scholarship is administered by the Iowa Credit Union Foundation.
Veridian Credit Union, founded in 1934 in Waterloo, Iowa, now has 32 branches across Iowa, eastern Nebraska and Eden Prairie.
