The Eden Prairie Community Foundation is seeking a new executive director after its previous director, Greg Leeper, stepped down earlier in November.

Leeper started his role in 2022, overseeing the foundation and its philanthropic efforts.
Tom Wargolet, the foundation’s board chair, said the board is currently working to fill the position. The foundation posted the job on the Minnesota Council of Nonprofits website and on LinkedIn.
Wargolet said they have already begun receiving applications and plan to conduct interviews after Thanksgiving.
In the interim, the foundation’s former executive director, Mark Weber, is serving as acting director.
Leeper said the decision to step down was not an easy one because of the impact the foundation has on the community.
“Making the decision to step away from the foundation was not easy because it was such a privilege to work with so many wonderful people, helping facilitate generosity and real impact together,” Leeper said. “I’m proud of the difference we were able to make in the community, and I am confident that good days are ahead for the foundation.”
