Thursday’s view from the Miller Park playground in Eden Prairie offered a quiet pause — Mitchell Lake’s Belfast Cove washed in deep blues and late-autumn calm.
“It was reflective on a number of levels,” writes EPLN’s Jeff Strate. “The trees on the wooded peninsula were still dressed with rusted leaves; leaves that had resisted strong winds, leaves that remain reluctant to give in to winter.”
Strate snapped the photo at 2:04 p.m. on Thursday while photographing Miller Park’s no-barrier playground structures for an upcoming story.
