John Michael Reardon, 87, of Eden Prairie, passed away peacefully on Oct. 25, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, wisdom, and faith.

Born with a deep love for his Irish heritage and a passion for life, Reardon touched countless lives as an entrepreneur, educator, spiritual leader, and storyteller. He was the founder of Phoenix Process Consultants (1984), a prolific author, and a gifted storyteller whose words brought joy and insight to those around him.
A steadfast spiritual leader and community builder, he was a devoted husband of 65 years to his wife, Phyllis, and a proud father of five children: Sean (Melissa), Erin (Mark), Brendan (Renee), Brian (Kerynda), and Megan. He was the loving grandfather of Justin (Daniel), Kyle, Brendan (Ali), Courtney (Patrick), Grace, Liam (Meghan), Elizabeth, Michaela (Austin), and Katie, and great-grandfather to Violet. He is also survived by his siblings Marie and Jim Reardon and was preceded in death by his grandson Kyle.
Throughout his life, Reardon served as a teacher, youth minister, counselor, therapist, and consultant, always seeking to uplift those around him. His playful spirit made him a purveyor of shenanigans and an instigator of good conversation, fostering laughter and connection wherever he went.
A funeral Mass will be held at Pax Christi Catholic Community, 12100 Pioneer Trail, Eden Prairie, on Saturday, Nov. 15. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m., followed by the funeral Mass at 11 a.m. and a reception. Pax Christi will livestream the Mass.
