An Eden Prairie man faces three felony charges in separate theft and burglary cases, according to Hennepin County court filings.
Kaleb Michael Bohne, 23, was charged Sept. 17 with third-degree burglary after police say he pried open the door of a closed business on Sept. 4, used another employee’s code to access the register, and took $477.26 in cash. Surveillance video captured the entry, according to the complaint.
The next day, prosecutors filed two felony theft charges tied to 2024 incidents. In May of that year, Bohne allegedly removed $2,468 from a workplace safe on two occasions at a store on Anderson Lakes Parkway.
Two months later, in July 2024, a man told police he returned from a trip to find $11,350 in musical equipment missing from his Eden Prairie apartment. He had given Bohne a key to care for his cat. Pawnshop surveillance shows Bohne selling the equipment in Shakopee, and in a post-Miranda statement he admitted pawning the items to pay a debt, according to the complaint.
Bohne was booked into the Hennepin County Jail on Sept. 15 and released Sept. 19 on conditions that include no contact with the victims. An omnibus hearing is scheduled for Oct. 22 in Hennepin County District Court in Minneapolis.
