Gregory Lee Almedina, age 62, of Minneapolis, passed away peacefully on March 26, 2025, surrounded by loved ones.
He was preceded in death by his son, Anthony “AJ” Longhofer; parents, Santiago and Christine Almedina; sisters, Debbie and Maria Almedina; and brother, Shane Almedina.
He is survived by his sons, Dominic Almedina and Aaron Almedina; sister, Yvonne (Almedina) Robinson and her husband, Todd Robinson; nephew, Taylor Robinson; niece, Selena Robinson; and his best friend and former wife, Christine Longhofer.
An informal remembrance gathering will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 17, at 3015 Eagandale Place, Eagan, MN 55121.
