Due to forecasted dangerously cold temperatures and wind chills, Eden Prairie Schools will delay the start of in-person classes on Tuesday, Feb. 18. EP Online will follow its regular schedule.
In a message to families, the district said grades K-12 and TASSEL will have a two-hour late start. Bus pickup times will be two hours later than usual, but drop-off times will remain the same. Lunch will be provided, but breakfast will not.
In-person school start times for Feb. 18 will be:
- Cedar Ridge Elementary: 10 a.m.
- Eagle Heights Spanish Immersion: 9:45 a.m.
- Eden Lake Elementary: 10:40 a.m.
- Forest Hills Elementary: 10 a.m.
- Oak Point Elementary: 9:45 a.m.
- Prairie View Elementary: 10:40 a.m.
- Central Middle School (CMS): 11:25 a.m.
- Eden Prairie High School (EPHS): 10:35 a.m.
- TASSEL: 10:10 a.m.
In addition, the following programs will be running:
- EP Online (regular start and end times).
- Afternoon Little Eagles 3-year-old preschool.
- Family School (moving online).
- After-school athletics and activities, including Activities buses.
- After-school events, including the Eden Lake Principal interviews.
- After-school Targeted Services.
- After-school Eagle Zone.
- After-school EPIC classes.
- Morning/daytime ECFE.
- Afternoon/evening ECFE.
- Early childhood screening.
- In-person Community Education classes.
- Facility rentals.
The following programs are closed or canceled:
- School-based breakfast.
- Morning and afternoon school-based 4-year-old Pre-K.
- Morning Little Eagles 3-year-old preschool.
- Morning and afternoon Junior Eagle Zone.
- Morning Eagle Zone.
- CMS Mornings program.
- Morning EPIC classes and morning Targeted Services.
- Before-school activities.
Daytime school activities and events will be communicated by each school. The EPHS Career Fair will be rescheduled.
