Incoming Eden Prairie Schools kindergarten students and their families, including siblings, are invited to attend Kinder KidFlicks, a series of fun, free movie nights starting Friday, Jan. 10.
Attendees are welcome to bring their own blankets and pillows to get cozy, and snacks will be offered at the events.
Each school’s kindergarten teachers will be available to have one-on-one conversations with families, and Welcome Center staff members will be onsite to help families complete the enrollment process.
“This is an important time to make an enrollment decision,” said Grace Becker, director of marketing and communications for Eden Prairie Schools. “Kinder KidFlick is a great chance to speak directly to teachers and school leaders and help to make that decision easier.”
While enrollment for most of the district’s schools will remain open for months and through the summer, families considering Eagle Heights Spanish Immersion should act quickly, as lottery applications are due by 4 p.m. on Jan. 31. RSVPs via the district’s kindergarten registration web page are encouraged for planning purposes, although they are not required.
