Central Middle School (CMS) invites the community to its humorous and fast-paced fall play, a comedy by Tony Howell called “Cases of Mistaken Identity.”
Katie Skramstad, a CMS teacher and the play’s director, said, “This zany comedy follows passengers aboard a train headed to Santa Fe in the late 1800s. Along the way, mistaken identities and luggage create confusion for the actors and laughs for the audience.”
Skramstad said that approximately 100 CMS students in grades 6-8 are involved in the cast and crew of the show. The cast has been working hard over the past several weeks, rehearsing and learning their lines, blocking, and cues to ensure a smooth performance. Shows will be held in the CMS Performing Arts Center at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 21, and Friday, Nov. 22, and at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 23. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students and seniors and can be purchased at the door.
