A bevy of beauties are in bloom, and in bud, in the garden planted over a century ago at Eden Prairie’s Cummins-Phipps-Grill House.

The historic property is at 13600 Pioneer Trail, adjacent to the eastern edge of Staring Lake Park and across the street from Flying Cloud Airport. The peony garden, planted around 1920 by Harriet Phipps, is on the eastern side of the house and is open for public viewing.
Harriet and her husband, Edwin Phipps, owned the home and property from 1908 to 1934. Currently, the property is owned by the City of Eden Prairie and leased to the Eden Prairie Historical Society.
