The Eden Prairie High School softball team was defeated 10-2 by the No. 10 ranked St. Michael-Albertville Knights on Thursday at Miller Park.
Despite trailing early, the Eagles mounted a comeback in the sixth inning. Senior Alex Hall hit a two-run double that brought home sophomore Genevieve Streed and eighth grader Josie Blakely, trimming the Knights’ lead to 8-2.
The loss brings Eden Prairie’s season record to 9-6. The Eagles are scheduled to travel to Buffalo for a game on Friday at 7 p.m.
