Two faceless pumpkins on Summerhill Drive were flocked with snow on Halloween morning. Photo by Jeff Strate
Golden October in Eden Prairie was quickly swept away by winds and snow on Halloween Eve. This morning, I snapped a few images that may interest those readers who appreciate the overlooked. Above, a pair of pumpkins, and below a parking lot and a small garden outside a Prairie Center Drive office building seem unremarkable. But on this Halloween, are they?
A school of icy “ghost fish” seems to swim toward shade, seeking protection from the Halloween morning sun. The scene was observed at 10:40 a.m. in the parking lot of the Hennepin County University of Minnesota Extension office, located at 479 Prairie Center Drive. Photo by Jeff Strate
Garden flowers, draped in wet snow, seem resigned to their ghostly appearance. The photo was taken at 479 Prairie Center Drive by Jeff Strate.
