The Eden Prairie High School girls lacrosse team prevailed 15-14 in a tightly contested game on Tuesday night at Blake High School in Hopkins.
Senior midfielder Brinley Hopper clinched the game-winning goal with 14 seconds remaining on the clock. Hopper led the team in scoring with six goals, while senior midfielder Kylie Bamlett contributed four goals.
According to the Minnesota Girls Lacrosse Coaches Association, Eden Prairie entered the game ranked No. 5 while Blake held the No. 8 spot.
Both teams now have a 6-4 record.
Eden Prairie is scheduled to play their next game at home on Thursday against St. Michael-Albertville.
