The Eden Prairie girls basketball team fell short in the State Class AAAA Semifinals, losing 55-40 to St. Michael-Albertville at Williams Arena on Thursday night.
Eagles senior point guard and captain Molly Lenz led the Eagles with 21 points. Eden Prairie will face Stillwater for the third-place match at the Gangelhoff Center located at Concordia University in St. Paul at 4 p.m. on Saturday.
Meanwhile, STMA will face Hopkins for the championship title at 8 p.m. Saturday at Williams Arena.
